Back to College - Advance Directives Package 2020

College students rarely worry about preparing estate planning documents, and are often OK with their State's handling of their assets should they unexpectedly pass away.

HOWEVER, the more likely scenario is temporary incapacity -- car accidents, usually.

Recently, illness has been at the front of college student (and parent) concerns as well.

A basic advanced directives package can allow the student to give a parent or other trusted adult the rights they need to take care of the student in a bad situations,

including the rights to make medical decisions and the right to obtain medical information from healthcare providers.

THIS PACKAGE MAY BE FOR YOU, IF:

You're over the age of 18

You have "assets" in your name -- bank account, pets, real estate, car, apartment lease, etc.

You want to designate a parent, family member, or trusted friend to manage your financial affairs and medical decisions in the event that you cannot do it yourself.
